1. Fundidora Park  

Located in a historical workers' colony east of downtown Monterrey, Fundidora Park is a public park that was once home to the Fundidora de Fierro y Acero company from 1900 until 1986. Now recognized as an industrial archaeological site, this park offers family-friendly entertainment, including walking paths, an ice rink, a lake, a car racing track, kinetic art displays, an art gallery, and ample green spaces.

2. Paseo Santa Lucía

Also found within Fundidora Park, Paseo Santa Lucía is a scenic 2.5 km guided tour along a canal that connects Fundidora Park to the Museum of Mexican History. This route features beautiful landscapes adorned with murals by local artists, 24 fountains, stages for events, and extensive green areas ideal for leisure.

3. Museum of Mexican History

Inaugurated on November 30, 1994, this museum is a cultural hub that showcases over 1,200 artifacts reflecting key aspects of Mexican life from pre-Hispanic times to the 20th century. Spanning 15,000 square meters, it includes temporary exhibition spaces, an auditorium, a video library, and interactive modules that make the experience both educational and engaging.

4. Macroplaza

The Macroplaza is a 40-hectare space recognized as the largest plaza in Mexico. It features recreational areas, shops, green spaces, historical colonial buildings, and significant monuments, including the 70-meter-high Faro del Comercio, which illuminates the night sky with its laser beam. Notably, it ranks among the five largest squares in the world.

5. Old Quarter

6. Arena Monterrey

Opened on November 27, 2003, Arena Monterrey serves as an indoor venue for concerts, shows, and sports events like soccer and basketball. With a capacity of 17,599 spectators, it is conveniently located in Parque Fundidora in the city center.

7. Torres Obispado 

This impressive duo of skyscrapers ranks as the tallest in Mexico, with the first tower reaching 305 meters over 64 levels, and the second standing at 156 meters with 44 levels. Monterrey is home to some of the biggest skyscrapers in Latin America, including the KOI Tower.
